About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and multilingual Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, answering their questions, and resolving any issues they may have.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with our wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently, following company policies and procedures.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Pull and stock products from the sales floor or warehouse, ensuring that our customers have access to the products they need.
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications, providing a high level of quality and service.
  • Assist in making deliveries, as needed, and load/unload delivery trucks.
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options with customers.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Suggest ways to improve sales and customer satisfaction, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.

  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
