Behavioral Health Specialist

This role offers the opportunity to provide direct and indirect clinical services to adults in need of mental health care. Responsibilities include crisis assessment, intake assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, treatment planning, case management, and patient/family education.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree and Connecticut licensure as a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Familiarity with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and experience with pre-authorization and billing processes are preferred. Key competencies include computer proficiency, strong clinical skills, and effective written and verbal communication.
