Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and merchandising of products, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Processing: Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure timely and accurate processing of merchandise.
  • Customer Service: Engage and interact with customers to provide a positive shopping experience, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Team Leadership: Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles, and monitor productivity to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded, and maintain organizational and cleanliness standards for the backroom area.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with management and Associates to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor, and provide progress updates as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills, capable of multi-tasking, and able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
