Job DescriptionEssential Job Functions:- Provide professional nursing care to office patients in non-complex situations under the supervision of a physician and clinical practice manager or clinical coordinator.
- Deliver direct patient care within the scope of licensure and in accordance with our policy.
- Maintain efficient patient flow and collect lab specimens according to departmental guidelines.
- Prioritize patient care by implementing physician orders and nursing procedures, and document appropriately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Communicate and provide care consistent with the age, cultural, spiritual, and developmental needs of the patient.
- Administer injections according to appropriate protocol and document accurately in the EHR.
- Effectively communicate problems, concerns, or issues to the Office Supervisor/Manager appropriately and promptly.
- Adhere to universal safety precautions when administering medications and disposal of medical waste.
- Maintain proficiency with department-specific equipment, troubleshoot, and report malfunctions promptly.
- Assist in ordering and maintaining of all supplies as assigned.
- Demonstrate flexibility with various work schedules.
Vocational/Technical School/Diploma Program required. Associates degree preferred.
New Jersey State Nursing License and BLS certification required.
0-1 years experience. 2-4 years experience preferred.
Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks in a timely manner.
