Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented EHSS Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the site EHS Manager in ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, building a strong safety culture, and reducing injuries. This is a key role in our organization, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all levels of team members to foster a positive and safety-focused work environment.
  • Provide accurate and consistent guidance to all team members on safety best practices, internal and external policies, and regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, assessments, and observations to identify and evaluate hazards and behaviors in the workplace, and recommend solutions to minimize or eliminate risk.
  • Collect and analyze data to build metrics and identify trends in safety-related initiatives.
  • Maintain safety communications boards and update safety monitor slides as needed.
  • Manage safety supplies and order supplies as necessary.
  • Track and facilitate employee safety rewards.
  • Conduct and facilitate various safety training programs.
  • Conduct new hire safety orientation for full-time and temporary employees.
  • Participate in accident investigations.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish and English.
Shift:

3rd shift (10:00 pm - 6:30 am)
