Position Overview:

In the role of Senior Eye Care Technician, you will play a vital part in assisting our physicians by managing both clinical and administrative duties. Your tasks will encompass patient interaction, support during procedures, conducting diagnostic tests, and ensuring precise record-keeping.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Engage with patients and support physicians
  • Perform vision and ocular assessments
  • Accurately document examination details
  • Ensure patients comprehend instructions
  • Mentor junior technicians
  • Maintain treatment areas and equipment
  • Conduct ancillary testing
  • Administer prescribed medications

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Prior experience as an Ophthalmic Technician

Preferred Credentials:

  • Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA)
  • Ophthalmic Scribe Certification (OSC)

Work Schedule:

  • Rotating shifts, including weekends

Compensation:

  • $27.50 per hour
