Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on rail cars.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including metal finishing and repairs.
  • Set up work on rail cars from drawings, procedures, and written instructions.
  • Develop and implement production aids to improve efficiency.
  • Repair and maintain electrical systems, including wire harnesses and termination.
  • Assemble and install complex electrical systems, including cabling and wiring.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of electrical schematics and troubleshooting.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience with electrical wiring.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of settings, including indoors and outdoors.
