YOUR ROLE:


The Customer Engagement Specialist possesses comprehensive knowledge of all operational and technical aspects of the credit union, including its service offerings, benefits, and the regulations governing our members and their accounts.

This role is accountable for executing advanced functions and providing universal support for our members concerning departmental operations and financial services, effectively addressing and resolving all member inquiries, concerns, and issues.

The Customer Engagement Specialist is also expected to stay informed about evolving policies and procedures, and to be proficient in all functional areas of the credit union, providing leadership, training, and support—both technical and operational—to colleagues and other credit union personnel.

This position necessitates the exercise of independent judgment and decision-making skills while ensuring the protection of member information and maintaining professionalism in a dynamic environment.


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:


Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM; non-exempt.


Additionally:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of relevant experience in financial services or customer support is preferred.
Strong customer service and sales abilities.
Familiarity with computer systems, particularly MS Office, is preferred.
Proficiency in mathematics and keyboarding skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
Ability to work collaboratively as a dependable team member.
Capacity to work independently while demonstrating initiative and sound decision-making skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism under pressure.
General knowledge and experience with mobile devices (iPhones, iPads, Androids, tablets, etc.) and their operating systems.
Ability to deliver exceptional customer service, providing high-quality, professional support over the phone.
Compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
