Payroll Specialist

Job Summary: Vernon Memorial HealthCare is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. In this role, you will handle payroll preparation, including timecard management, data entry, and deductions for taxes and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare payroll reports and respond to payroll inquiries from employees and managers.
• Process federal and state tax deposits, and maintain accurate payroll records.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and handle monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting requirements.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience in payroll processing, with strong knowledge of payroll laws and proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
