Job Title: Mission Director, C5ISR

Job Summary:

OWT Global is seeking a highly experienced Mission Director, C5ISR to lead our business development and capture efforts within the C5ISR directorate. As a key member of our Strategy and Growth team, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and capturing opportunities within the Department of Defense (DoD), the Intelligence Community (IC), and other federal government customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the OWT Global C5ISR pipeline, identifying and capturing near- and mid-term opportunities while shaping long-term pursuits.
  • Develop and execute customer, partner, and stakeholder contact plans to establish and extend trusted relationships.
  • Interact with customers and industry peers to develop relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Drive the development and submission of white papers and RFI responses to shape strategic opportunities proactively.
  • Lead capture efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, developing capture strategies, competitive assessments, teaming, and price-to-win efforts.
  • Lead and present directorate business development planning and execution activities, including pipeline reviews, capture budget management, and proposal development.
  • Meet with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to support campaign plan strategies.
  • Develop and lead OWT Global awareness/capabilities briefings to provide an overview of our directorate capabilities and differentiators.
  • Work closely with adjacent OWT Global business developers, capture managers, and line managers to achieve business development goals.
  • Maintain awareness of competitive offerings and strategies across the space.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated tactical day-to-day success with a strategic focus on long-term directorate growth.
  • Experience leading and winning multi-million-dollar C5ISR-related opportunities from identification through proposal submission.
  • Established relationships with government customers relevant to OWT Global's business.
  • Extensive organizational and mission knowledge of relevant customer government organizations.
  • Understanding of the new business pursuit lifecycle, with proven experience in developing and winning new business.
  • Experience successfully executing all capture effort phases, including planning, teaming, proposal development, and price-to-win analyses.
  • Ability to advance large-scale opportunities through the entire capture life cycle, emphasizing opportunities 18-36 months ahead of solicitation release successfully.
  • Knowledge of competitors and ability to model competitor behaviors in the market.
  • Great communicator – both oral and written.
  • Detail-oriented to deliver an accurate and precise work product.
  • Ability to create and sustain excellent long-term customer relationships.
  • Thrives in a team-oriented, fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Routine CRM and pipeline management.
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal soft skills.

Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI eligibility required.
  • B.S. or B.A. in a relevant field.
  • 5-8 years of demonstrated success supporting business development and capture of programs within the DoD, IC, and federal government contract space (or) 10 years of combined military service and industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Capture Management Certification(s), Shipley training, or equivalent experience.
  • Military or government experience in relevant operational areas.
  • 15+ years of military industry combined experience.
