Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Forecasting and Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts and reports, including current month and YTD financial statements, monthly forecast, and annual budgeting.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial reports to explain actual results, identify variances to budget, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Business Intelligence and Reporting: Develop and maintain business intelligence and cube reporting to provide insights into financial performance.
  • Cash Flow Management: Determine cash flow forecasts to guide financial and operational strategies.
  • Financial Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and present financial results to the site operational team in aggregate and by value stream.
  • Budget and Forecast Process: Coordinate and lead the preparation of the budget/forecast process for individual sites and division consolidation.
  • Ad-Hoc Financial Reports: Prepare and present ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as requested.
  • Inventory Cost Accounting: Ensure accuracy of inventory quantities and costs, and assist plant management in managing physical inventory efficiently.
  • Financial Compliance: Oversee multiple state sales tax reporting, and all other business/financial compliance filings.
  • Tax Reporting: Coordinate income tax reporting with the company's outside CPA firm.
  • Accounting Policies: Develop and maintain accounting policies, and ensure compliance with US and Mexico affiliates.
  • Support and Guidance: Provide support in budget preparation and expense management activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance, or relevant field within Business Administration.
  • Certification: CPA or CMA certification preferred or commitment to certification.
  • Experience: Manufacturing Controller experience preferred.
