Join Our Team as a Sanitation Specialist

At Milos Tea Company, we are committed to providing the highest quality products while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. As a Sanitation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our food processing equipment.

Responsibilities:
Cleaning and sanitizing food processing equipment in accordance with company guidelines
Facilitating the sanitation breakdown procedures of equipment at different steps in the manufacturing process
Remove raw materials from the equipment before cleaning using sanitation chemicals
Assist in the monitoring of chemical handling and dispensing
Perform visual inspections and microbiological testing on post sanitized equipment to assure quality standards are met
Immediately report sanitation and production deficiencies to appropriate personnel
Train team members on sanitation duties and CIP requirements

Requirements:
2 or three years related experience and/or training; Chemical usage training and sanitation training
Food Manufacturing experience a plus
Able to read and understand a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for chemicals
Must obtain forklift certification upon job placement
