Nurse Specialist

ChristianaCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Wilmington Hospital. As a PACU RN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the perioperative phases of care, including preparation, anesthesia, and recovery.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as needed.
- Perform post-operative tasks, such as changing dressings and administering pain management.
- Collaborate with the anesthesia team to ensure smooth transitions of care.
- Document patient information and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- BSN degree or commitment to obtaining within three years of hire.
- Current RN licensure.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire.
- At least two years of experience in perianesthesia nursing, critical care, or HVIS.
