Position Overview:

The Radiologic Technologist - In-House Registry embodies the core mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. This role adheres to the organization’s ethical standards and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring their imaging needs are met effectively.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiology Technology program, whether through a college or hospital-based training.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills. Ability to communicate and read effectively in English.
  • Physical Requirements: A physical demands assessment is utilized to objectively determine if a candidate can fulfill the essential job functions. This assessment aligns with guidelines from OSHA and NIOSH.
    • Job Role Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs; carry items 30 inches wide; push/pull up to 50 lbs.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience as a radiologic technologist is advantageous.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
