Job Summary
The Rad Tech 2 IHR reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients and customers, ensuring their imaging needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an approved school of Radiology Technology, either college-affiliated or hospital-trained.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in reading and communicating effectively in English.
- Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying objects up to 30 inches wide, and pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a technologist in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proficiency in additional languages.
