Senior Project Manager, PD&E

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager, PD&E to lead our transportation planning and development efforts in Florida. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of roadway infrastructure development, including transportation planning and traffic engineering, corridor studies, and Project Development and Environment (PD&E) studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop technical discipline teams and perform as a project manager or task leader on transportation planning and PD&E projects.
  • Client development, coordinating the project pursuits and proposal preparation.
  • Perform as a senior technical lead in the development of concepts, reports, and studies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships that allow us to have a positive impact on the communities we serve and grow our people through work on exciting and challenging projects.
  • Develop value-added solutions to clients' needs and lead the successful pursuit of contracts for engineering and consulting services.
  • Increase the company's profile within the transportation industry through participation with appropriate business and professional organizations.
  • Perform strategic planning and plan execution for both operations and business development.
  • Planning, organizing, and supervising the work of other transportation professionals.
  • Effectively negotiate, plan, monitor, and deliver quality projects and consulting services.
  • Reviewing engineered designs and plans for conformance with applicable state, regional, and local agency standards.
Qualifications
  • 10 progressive civil engineering highway/roadway transportation planning and/or design experience.
  • Proven experience managing all aspects of roadway infrastructure development, including transportation planning and traffic engineering, corridor studies, and PD&E studies.
  • Experience in successful project pursuits, including identifying opportunities, client engagement, developing teaming strategies, and developing proposals.
  • Thorough understanding of codes, legal, and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to lead a team on multiple assignments.
  • Strong client interaction and relationship skills.
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensed in the State of Florida is preferred.
