We are establishing a new role for a Senior Financial Accountant to oversee and enhance our financial processes. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record daily financial transactions in the general ledger.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all entries.
  • Process vendor invoices and manage payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Oversee cash balances and prepare cash flow forecasts.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Compile financial data for management reporting.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Analyze budget variances and financial trends.
  • Conduct financial data analysis to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports as required.
  • Assist in audit preparations and provide necessary support during audits.
  • Ensure compliance with audit standards and internal controls.
  • Assist in tax return preparation and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) for daily operations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to share and obtain financial information.
  • Maintain effective communication with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience, preferably in multi-entity environments or financial services.
  • A professional and collaborative team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with QuickBooks.
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Possess critical thinking abilities to research and resolve issues.
