Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Business Principal Project Manager to lead strategic communication activities, drive supplier relationship development, and oversee center-wide projects. This role requires a strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

About the Role

This Project Lead position is responsible for:

  • Developing and executing external and internal strategic communication plans, including messaging and content creation for key stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create presentation content and complete Center Level projects.
  • Leading major purchasing and supply chain strategic projects and initiatives, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Mentoring associates within the group on problem-solving, procedures, and fostering development.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Create, develop, and maintain procedures and flows to monitor Honda's PSCC external communication strategy to our supply base.
  • Project leadership for all supplier communication, messages, developing consensus with key leaders and speakers on key message points.
  • Establishing and maintaining contact with public and private organizations for the purpose of exchanging information and ideas, including best practices sharing.
  • Project Lead for associate communication within center, creating and developing message for leadership communication.
  • Management and oversight of annual budget and budget preparation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience (depending on education)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Procurement Management, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong computer skills including working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of project management, strong problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with ability to communicate with all levels of management
Work Environment

This position is based in an office environment with a hybrid work style (60% In-Office/40% Remote). Limited travel is required, and the open office environment has moderate noise and activity levels.
