We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional II to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a Direct Support Professional II, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily routines for clients, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.
  • Support clients in achieving their goals and aspirations, as outlined in their Individual Program Plan.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for clients, including preparing daily meals and assisting with personal care.
  • Transport clients to appointments, activities, and social events, promoting socialization and community integration.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless support and advocacy.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in caregiving, preferably supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses.
  • Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year 2) required.
  • First Aid/CPR/CPI certification.
  • Valid California Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and work in various weather conditions.
