Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our medical office team at Conway Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and treatment in a medical office setting. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and attention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and treatment as directed by physicians.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of South Carolina.
- Minimum of two years' experience in nursing practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
- Occasional exposure to difficult patients.
- Potential exposure to blood-borne and airborne pathogens.
- Stress level high due to multiple demands frequently occurring simultaneously.
Physical Requirements:
Medium - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk; occasionally to use hands, fingers; and frequently to talk or hear. The employee must exert 20 to 35 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 15 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to hear to process instructions and safety code and alarms required.
