Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Acadia Healthcare Inc. in Little Rock, Arkansas.
About the Role:This is a full-time, inpatient position that requires the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with mental health issues.
Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic mental health conditions in patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the medical team.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and psychiatric health.
- Chart clinical observations, evaluations, and treatment plans in accordance with facility guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Encourage family involvement in patient care and provide education on mental health topics.
- Support and follow hospital policies, medical staff bylaws, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide on-call services as scheduled by the medical staff.
- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner required.
- Licensure to practice in the state of Arkansas.
