Job Overview

This position is accountable for overseeing both the financial and scheduling aspects of projects. The successful candidate will contribute to maintenance, engineering, design, and outage initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to project controls standards as outlined in relevant contract documents and internal policies.

• Engage in the development and upkeep of the organization's project cost and control systems.

• Assist in proposal and estimation processes to maintain alignment between project forecasts and actual baselines.

• Create and manage a comprehensive, resource-loaded schedule utilizing P6 software.

• Support the project team in transitioning project bids into a complete and accurate project baseline within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

• Establish project control systems, including cost codes and project credit rules, within the ERP framework.

• Analyze project contracts to ensure compliance with all conditions related to invoicing, reporting, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.

• Monitor project performance and guarantee the effective implementation of project control systems; responsible for thorough review and analysis of earned value and other critical performance metrics.

• Produce all necessary project status reports for internal stakeholders and clients, including comprehensive project dashboards and performance summaries.

• Manage and facilitate change management processes for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

• Review and interpret cost and schedule reports with the project team, recommending corrective measures to enhance performance and productivity; provide timely insights to project managers regarding deviations from established baselines.

• Prepare and revise project cash flow forecasts.

Essential Skills
  • Over 10 years of experience in project controls.
  • Proficient in cost management tools (SAP, Excel, Oracle) and methodologies, including cash flow management, Earned Value Analysis, and variance analysis.
  • Experience managing project budgets ranging from $1 million to $15 million in Engineering and Construction projects.
  • Expertise in scheduling tools, particularly P6.
  • Ability to conduct Critical Path Analysis and prepare weekly and monthly Schedule Performance Index (SPI) reports.
Work Environment

This role requires full-time on-site presence.
