Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear operations and instructional design, with experience in developing and delivering training programs for nuclear operators. You will be responsible for maintaining training programs in accordance with nuclear industry, regulatory, and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop instructional materials and conduct training for the INPO Accredited Initial License Training program
  • Maintain training programs in accordance with nuclear industry, regulatory, and legal requirements
  • Interface with regulatory personnel and industry peers
  • Train and lead others
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of related experience OR;
  • Certified OPS Instructor (including 5+ years of experience) OR;
  • RO or SRO (including 5+ years of experience) OR;
  • Sr Instructor OPS Training Cert from Dominion (including 5+ years of experience)
  • 5 or more years of experience in Nuclear Operations
  • In-depth knowledge of INPO Accredited Instructional theory, design, and SAT process
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preferred experience utilizing Vision or equivalent training material development software
  • Experience in initial license training
  • Experience in training for Westinghouse 3 loop PWR
  • Experience developing license exams
What We Offer:
  • 12 Month initial Contract w/ Extension (10 years of work)
  • $60 - 75/hr + 1.5x OT + Medical Benefits + 401k
  • Mineral, VA & Surry, VA (NEED to be local or relocate, no remote work)
  • Per Diem for NON-LOCAL candidates
