KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle incoming calls and make outgoing calls to clients to provide information regarding products and services, process orders, or gather details about complaints.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, documenting inquiries, complaints, and comments, along with actions taken.
  • Address customer service or billing issues; verify that necessary adjustments were made to resolve customer concerns.
  • Reach out to clients to respond to inquiries or inform them of claim outcomes and any planned modifications; escalate unresolved complaints to the appropriate departments for further resolution.
  • Gather and analyze all pertinent information to evaluate the legitimacy of complaints and identify potential causes.
  • Coordinate same-day deliveries and pickups for clients. Manage pickup requests from clients and Territory Managers. Address delivery and routing inquiries and issues from clients.
  • Respond to product inquiries from clients. Encourage the sale of new or additional services or products.
  • Compare disputed merchandise with original orders and information from invoices, preparing invoices for returned items.
  • Contact all clients impacted by product recalls and withdrawals.
  • Process customer orders.
  • Assist at the front window and with filing as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

RELATIONSHIPS

  • Internal: Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Distribution, Production, and Support teams. The role requires professional interaction with associates at all levels within the organization.
  • External: Engage with clients in a professional manner.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Professional office setting requiring interaction with clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with phone technology is preferred.

EDUCATION

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required; a degree is preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of three years of experience in a customer service call center environment is required. Experience in food service distribution is a plus.
