The Department of Student Affairs in the School of Nursing at West Virginia University is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Associate to support the management of administrative tasks. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Director of the BSN program to ensure traditional and ABSN students at all campuses meet school of nursing requirements and students with clinical and leadership opportunities are compliant with the WVUH system.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with onboarding students and track student compliance in SentryMD (Health requirement tracker) Program.
- Monitor Precheck (Background check and Urine Drug Screens) Program and upload, maintain, track, and terminate students and faculty in the WVUH Workday Program.
- Serve as the second School Point Person (SPP) for WVUH and schedule and proctor exams for students with accommodations.
- Monitor Morgantown traditional and ABSN students' community service hours in iServe and support the SOAR Peer Coaching Program.
- Coordinate graduation application process and RN licensing process, and assign student lockers and maintain locker list of 600 lockers.
- Associate degree in office administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years of combined experience involving office administration, management, supervisory, budget management, computer skills, and working knowledge of multiple database platforms.
- 37.5-hour work week
- 13 paid holidays (staff holiday calendar)
- 15 annual leave (vacation) days per year or more based on years of service (employee leave)
- 18 sick days per year (for when you're ill, for when you need time to care for sick family, for your own, or your family's, regularly scheduled medical appointments)
