Position: Product Quality Program Manager

Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Proven project management capabilities, with a track record of effectively overseeing OEM production facilities.
  • Ability to navigate and collaborate within a matrix organizational structure.
  • Experience managing a product lifecycle from initial development phases to full-scale production.
  • Expertise in establishing factory infrastructure requirements, process workflows, and comprehensive factory layouts, including equipment specifications.
  • Hands-on experience in creating processes, tools, and equipment for final assembly operations.
  • Knowledge in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Testability (DFT), Tolerance Analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Analysis, and Statistical Process Control.
  • Familiarity with surface mount technology and data center hardware is advantageous.
  • Experience with JMP, Minitab, and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the technical lead for manufacturing operations across various vendors and production locations.
  • Facilitate contract manufacturer readiness for pre-production activities.
  • Oversee the development, documentation, optimization, and validation of production processes.
  • Lead the creation of production equipment and fixtures in collaboration with contract manufacturers and equipment suppliers.
  • Conduct DFM assessments and collaborate with hardware engineering to enhance design efficiency.
  • Manage development builds and oversee production scaling.
  • Engage in all stages of a product's lifecycle, from concept through to repeat manufacturing and eventual phase-out.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Product Quality Plan (PQP) throughout the supply chain.
  • Ensure quality management across the supply chain, leading root cause investigations and corrective action initiatives.
  • Collaborate with customer teams to monitor field failures and returns, driving necessary corrective measures.
  • Conduct weekly technical operations and quality review meetings.
