Position Overview:
Peraton is seeking a dedicated Systems Integration Engineer to spearhead a pivotal initiative with our esteemed clients. This role demands a technical leader who will oversee the planning, exploration, design, and execution of both physical and virtual infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities:
The Systems Integration Engineer will be tasked with:

  • Designing and engineering virtual infrastructure utilizing various hypervisors and Voice over Internet technologies, including Hyper-V, XenServer, ESXi, and VMware.
  • Creating, maintaining, and supporting diverse workstation and server images across Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Implementing automated system patching and software deployment processes.
  • Developing comprehensive network design diagrams and documentation.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in:
    • Designing and engineering virtual infrastructure and supporting desktop systems with Windows operating systems.
    • Creating infrastructures for workstations and servers optimized for high latency, low bandwidth networks utilizing satellite or cellular broadband technologies.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in:
    • Engineering virtual infrastructure with various hypervisors.
    • Utilizing Voice over Internet technologies, including Hyper-V, XenServer, ESXi, and VMware.
    • Supporting both Windows and Linux operating systems.
    • Automating system patching and software deployment.
    • Creating detailed network design diagrams and documentation.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, or Network Administration from an accredited institution. Equivalent work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • An active Top Secret Security Clearance with the capability to obtain SCI and polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certification as a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert or an equivalent level of certification is highly desirable.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is between $135,000 and $216,000, reflecting the typical salary range based on experience and other relevant factors.
