About the Job

At Danone North America, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance and Reliability Technical Manager to join our team. This role will be based in our Fort Worth, Texas yogurt manufacturing plant and will be responsible for the maintenance and reliability operations of the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct activities of the Maintenance department to achieve quality standards and targeted goals in a safe, efficient, and reliable manner.
  • Create, develop, and sustain a Spare Parts Stocking Strategy, including stock room management, parts kitting programs, and deployment of preventive and predictive tools.
  • Demonstrate leadership in Maintenance and Reliability, including cost execution, PM pillar/IWS leadership, and loss analysis.
  • Create, develop, and sustain programs for lubrication, utility system management, and maintenance safety.
  • Provide administrative direction to subordinate departments, including Maintenance, Purchasing, Infrastructure, and Controls.
  • Partner with engineering to develop the BU and site technical masterplan, including the development and execution of the 3-5-year capital plan.
  • Drive technical solutions and provide leadership to project management teams responsible for development and execution of project scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Direct and control the deployment of innovation, capital programs, and projects to improve performance in areas of product quality, productivity, and capacity.
  • Play a lead role in ensuring the BU and Supply Chain delivers against critical objectives, such as sustainability targets, improving overall reliability, reducing waste, and improving quality and safety KPIs.
  • Responsible for technical and professional development of the members of the Reliability Leaders and BU technical team.
  • Provide thought leadership and support within the BU and Technical organization to drive consistency and standardization throughout the Supply Chain and Technical Operations.
About You
  • You have a minimum of 5 years' operational and management experience in an industrial or food/beverage manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years' experience in operation or technical capacity.
  • Prior leadership experience is required.
  • You have a high school diploma or GED, required. A bachelor's degree or advanced degree in an engineering discipline or similar technical field is preferred.
  • Candidates without a completed bachelor's degree will need at least 10 years of related experience.
  • You have demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance programs and work order systems.
  • You have demonstrated fundamental skills in influencing and persuasion, excellent negotiation skills, and ability to understand sensitive situations.
  • You are a team player with an ability to lead and participate in cross-functional teams.
  • You have demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to develop trusting relationships.
  • You have demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask, prioritize plant operations in light of multiple priorities and conflicting demands.
  • You have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, MVP, and other company software packages.
  • You are able to support a 24/7 manufacturing plant, which may include day or night schedules and/or weekends, as business needs dictate.
