Job Summary

MyFlorida is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Provide basic care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Assist with medical procedures and surgeries as needed.
  • Document patient information and treatment plans in a clear and concise manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Florida.
  • One year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a psychiatric or medical setting.
  • Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, as well as licensed practical nursing principles and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
