We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Specialist Ops to join our team at the State of Florida. This is a high-level position that requires a strong background in nursing and education.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct in-service classes and certification programs for non-licensed direct care staff.
- Plan and manage schedules for educational programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Chair the Nurse Practice Committee and provide guidance on nursing practices and policies.
- Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in accordance with Chapter 464, Florida Statutes.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in nursing or a related field.
- Two years of nursing experience, or a master's degree from an accredited college or university in nursing, nursing education, public health, or a related field.
- Ability to effectively communicate new ideas and concepts, as well as review established information.
- Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to effectively manage multiple priorities. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
