Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of vehicles.
- Collaborate with the shop foreman or service advisor to discuss necessary repairs.
- Communicate any additional service needs to the service advisor.
- Coordinate work tasks in partnership with the shop foreman.
- Provide accurate labor estimates to the service advisor.
- Track repair times and keep the service advisor updated.
- Adhere strictly to dealership policies regarding vehicle maintenance and operation.
- Document all client repairs comprehensively.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians.
- Participate in company and manufacturer training sessions.
- Stay informed on factory technical bulletins.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal.
High school diploma or GED; or 1 to 3 months of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
Licenses and Certifications:- Valid Operator Driver's License
- State Inspection License
