Job Description

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Delivery Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading one or more teams of developers, testers, designers, and other disciplines in building global software solutions.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget. They will be responsible for ensuring that delivery execution aligns to organizational goals and objectives, and will frequently collaborate with business partners, architects, and product owners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and ensure delivery team alignment with business and technical objectives.
  • Ensure the right mix of talent, team size, and roles defined to make delivery commitments.
  • Collaborate with architects to improve designs and address potential challenges.
  • Enhance team velocity while staying within budget.
  • Collaborate with product owners on product roadmaps, backlog refinement, technical debt management, and opportunities to use innovative technology.
  • Actively identify and remove blockers before they become problematic.
  • Provide thought leadership to architectural, leadership, and governance councils.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of Information Technology experience.
  • 10+ years in a hand-on developer or architect role on n-tier applications.
  • 3+ years of Azure cloud development.
  • Proven ability of at least three years as technical team leader.
  • Deep understanding of agile principles and scrum methodology.
  • Solid understanding of common Azure PaaS services.
  • Experience writing restful API's using.NET 5/6/7 using domain driven design.
  • Experience with HTML/JavaScript.
  • Basic understanding of UX principles.
  • Familiarity with foundational security principles.

Optional Qualifications:

  • Experience working in large scale global corporate environments.
  • Experience delivering services for a global audience deployed to multiple hosting regions globally.
  • Experience delivering high traffic / high throughput consuming facing web applications.
  • Experience with UX driven product development.
  • Proficient in Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in varied technology roles.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The target salary range for this position is $150,000- $175,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
