Job Overview

The Customer Retention Division plays a crucial role in maintaining client relationships for the Globe Life Family of Companies. As a key member of our dedicated team, you will assist customers who are considering cancellation, helping them recognize the value of their coverage while providing necessary policy support.

We are seeking enthusiastic, diligent individuals who can work autonomously and possess strong attention to detail. In your role as a Customer Retention Specialist, you will manage both incoming and outgoing calls with clients looking to cancel their insurance policies, as well as reach out to current policyholders regarding their coverage, premium payments, and other policy-related inquiries. You will address questions concerning policy benefits and premiums, ensuring accurate documentation in our database. A positive and supportive demeanor is essential for effectively gathering information and recording it. This position does not involve cold calling or sales. We offer a friendly and relaxed work atmosphere with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. Enjoy excellent earning potential through an hourly wage supplemented by performance-based bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inbound and outbound communications with clients to assist with policy inquiries and accurately document information.
  • Clearly articulate policy benefits and premium obligations to clients.
  • Resolve complex issues faced by policyholders with a constructive approach.
  • Exercise discretion and tact in all customer interactions.
  • Reinforce the advantages of our insurance offerings.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) candidates may receive additional hourly compensation.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Outstanding customer service skills - friendly, efficient, and attentive.
  • Proficient in computer use, including keyboard functions and Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to thrive under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to analyze information and draw logical conclusions.
  • A genuine desire to learn and advance within the organization.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; prior inside sales experience is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent use of phone and computer.
  • Ability to sit and wear a headset for extended periods.
  • Occasional reaching above shoulder level.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Part-Time Schedule:

4 days a week (5:00 pm - 9:00 pm) and a half day on Saturday (8:00 am - 12:00 pm), closed on Sundays.
