Job Title: Infectious Disease Physician

Job Summary:

VHC Health is seeking a skilled Infectious Disease Physician to join our team. As a member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with other staff to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients. The scope of practice for this role is defined through the health system's credentialing and privileging committee.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide quality clinical care to patients in a timely manner
- Support objectives, budget, and performance metrics at the individual level
- Implement quality control standards, risk management, and compliance programs

Requirements:

- Doctorate from an accredited medical school
- One year of medical/surgical experience
- Licensed to practice medicine by the Virginia Department of Health Professions

Working Conditions:

- Works in a well-lighted/ventilated office/clinical setting
- Subject to frequent interruptions
- May be required to work beyond normal working hours

Physical Requirements:

- Must possess physical capabilities to perform the job requirements
- Must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress associated with the position

Education:

- Doctorate from an accredited medical school is required

Experience:

- One year of medical/surgical experience is required

Certifications/Licensure:

- Licensed to practice medicine by the Virginia Department of Health Professions is required

Physical Requirements:

- Must possess physical capabilities to perform the job requirements

Working Conditions:
