Alterations Customer Service Representative Job Description

At David's Bridal, we're seeking a skilled Alterations Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a critical role in the Alterations department, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and service customers with genuine enthusiasm, adapting your style to suit their needs.
  • Manage customer flow to deliver a five-star experience.
  • Meet service vows, including preparing, welcoming, meeting needs, and being there for customers.
  • Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at once, addressing concerns with confidence.
  • Promote alterations services and personalization options.
  • Maintain store standards, including cleanliness, organization, and promotional readiness.
  • Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise, following quality control guidelines.
  • Build long-term relationships to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent degree.
  • 1-2 years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
  • Prior sewing experience is helpful.
  • Prior experience with computerized POS systems.
