Job Title: Pediatric CVICU Hospitalist Clinical Instructor or Clinical Assistant

The Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric CVICU Hospitalist to join our team. As a Clinical Instructor or Clinical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, teaching, and research in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).

Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary and frontline clinical care to infants, children, and young adults with critical illness in the CVICU.
  • Evaluate and manage critical illness, including airway management, vascular access, resuscitation, and other critical care procedures as needed.
  • Participate in unit-based teaching, quality improvement, and research activities to advance the field of pediatric critical care.
  • Work collaboratively with the CVICU attending physician and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • Board certification in Pediatrics or Pediatric Critical Care.
  • Completion of a Pediatric Critical Care fellowship program or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent clinical and teaching skills, with a strong commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of patient acuity.
