Pediatric CVICU Hospitalist Clinical Instructor

The Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric CVICU Hospitalist to join our team. As a Clinical Instructor or Clinical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, teaching, and research in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
Responsibilities:- Provide primary and frontline clinical care to infants, children, and young adults with critical illness in the CVICU.
- Evaluate and manage critical illness, including airway management, vascular access, resuscitation, and other critical care procedures as needed.
- Participate in unit-based teaching, quality improvement, and research activities to advance the field of pediatric critical care.
- Work collaboratively with the CVICU attending physician and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Board certification in Pediatrics or Pediatric Critical Care.
- Completion of a Pediatric Critical Care fellowship program or equivalent experience.
- Excellent clinical and teaching skills, with a strong commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
