Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled LPN to join our team as a Clinical Care Specialist in the Pediatric Endocrinology department. This role involves providing technical nursing care to patients from birth to 21 years and selected adults under the direction of a RN Care Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and document patient/family data and observations, reporting pertinent findings to the RN Care Manager.
  • Follow the plan of care appropriate to the developmental level of the patient.
  • Collaborate with the RN Care Manager regarding tasks/nursing interventions.
  • Implement nursing interventions demonstrating competence in specified care.
  • Administer and document medications by all routes, utilizing safety recommendations.
  • Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills to convey nursing actions and patient response.
  • Makes sound clinical decisions.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in pediatric nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with completion of an LPN program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
