Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychiatric Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Health department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

Overview

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our 40-hour workweek includes Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a Clinical Psychiatric Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing plans of care, and communicating effectively with patients and colleagues.

You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to individuals and groups, leveraging evidence-based practice and staying up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in quality improvement initiatives, educate and train staff members, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

To succeed in this position, you must possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Requirements
  • Masters of Science degree or equivalent provision
  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Ohio
  • Maintains national certification as APRN in the appropriate population foci for the position, or PA
