Job Title: Automotive Paint Prepper

Classic Collision Inc is seeking a skilled Automotive Paint Prepper to join our team. As an Automotive Paint Prepper, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for refinishing and reassembly processes, and supporting Paint Technicians in paint jobs as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare vehicles for refinishing and reassembly processes according to factory specifications.
  • Assist Paint Technicians in paint jobs as required, including preparing spray-out panels and sanding and buffing to ensure quality standards.
  • Adhere to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Utilize air sanders, spray guns, sanding blocks, and other equipment to complete quality work.
  • Ensure all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly has been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid Driver's License Required.
  • I-CAR certification preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Successful completion of background check required.
