Job Overview

Sibley Memorial Hospital, a non-profit acute care community hospital in the Washington, DC area, seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to lead its Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As a Team Lead PACU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the direct and indirect care of patients and general unit operations.

Sibley is a 318-bed hospital providing medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic, and skilled nursing services. Our campus also includes an assisted living residence, physician offices, ambulatory surgery centers, and imaging facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and indirect patient care
  • General unit operations planning and coordination
  • Charge nurse duties, including staff management and resource allocation
  • Patient information communication to ensure optimal care

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in the District of Columbia
  • BLS CPR certification through AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training
  • 3 years of PACU or ICU experience preferred
  • Proven leadership skills
