About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at BrightStar Care. As a Home Health Aid and Licensed Nursing Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to clients in their homes
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare meals and snacks, and assist with light housekeeping
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition to the care team
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of a nursing assistant program (if eligible)
  • Current, valid state certification and in good standing
  • Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray (in-house testing available)
  • Minimum 6 months of documented healthcare experience (unless participating in an approved mentor program)
  • Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively
  • Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull, and lift 50 pounds
