Position Overview
We are in search of a seasoned rail industry expert to take on the role of Asset Information Manager.
This position will involve spearheading the provision of asset management information advisory services within a multidisciplinary consultancy framework, contributing to the expansion of our influence on the East Coast and throughout North America.
This role represents a remarkable opportunity for a rail professional to become part of a swiftly expanding, international rail consultancy firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Establishing asset information management protocols for clients to facilitate effective management of their transit and railroad assets.
- Defining requirements for the configuration of Enterprise Asset Management Systems (EAMS) to support accurate asset management reporting and maintenance activity oversight.
- Creating training materials for EAMS to enhance client proficiency and maturity in asset and work management.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers to formulate asset management strategies that align with the client's overarching business objectives.
- Assisting clients with considerations and strategies for the implementation of new asset management information systems.
- Formulating strategies for asset data collection and information requirements to ensure clients maintain up-to-date EAMS.
- Conducting performance data analysis to aid clients in improving asset reliability.
- Analyzing data to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing work management processes.
- Effectively presenting data analysis and insights to clients to support informed decision-making.
- Prioritizing and managing project delivery to surpass client expectations.
- Overseeing the development and execution of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and other agreed success metrics.
- Creating dashboards and reports for asset management and maintenance work for clients.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in transit and railroad asset management principles.
- Experience in the implementation and maintenance of Enterprise Asset Management Systems, ideally within a transit or railroad context.
- Expertise in asset information and spatial data architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements.
- Familiarity with transit and railroad asset management policies and practices is advantageous.
- Understanding of maintenance management processes in transit and railroad infrastructure is desirable.
- Exceptional data analytical capabilities.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
