About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Services Manager to join our team at Clarvida - California. As a key member of our CalWORKs Behavioral Health Services Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our mental health clinic, providing administrative and clinical supervision to staff, and ensuring compliance with company policy and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of clinical services, including individual, family, and group therapies, discharge planning, and phone contacts with clients and referral sources.
  • Consult with superiors on a regular basis to ensure program performance and needs are met.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to keep staff informed and provide treatment team leadership.
  • Provide direct client care as assigned, including individual, family, group therapies, and discharge planning.
  • Coordinate with outside clinicians, medical director, and/or nurse regarding client treatment issues, professional consultations, or medication evaluations.
  • Complete and submit required reporting, including Quality Assurance reports.
  • Collaborate with the Program Director to establish clinical program content and delivery of services.
  • Audit client charts for clinical documentation and ensure HIPAA, ethical standards, and professional boundaries are maintained.
  • Responsible for adhering to department budget and participating in its development.
  • Perform administrative functions consistent with the needs of the program.
  • Participate in program staff and planning meetings as required.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field, or Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed LCSW, MFT, or licensed by the appropriate Board as a Clinical Psychologist to practice independently at the highest level possible. Licensed for two years preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in inpatient, outpatient, and/or mental health care, with two years post-licensure experience required.
  • Direct clinical and case management experience, group leadership experience, and knowledge of rehabilitation philosophy.
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills, ability to lead and direct work of others, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate level PC skills required.
