COMPENSATION: $20-$25/hour plus a 7% commission on all parts and labor.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Vehicle Alignment Technician at Big O Tires, your role will involve executing service and installation tasks related to our products and services with precision and efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Encourage sales by effectively communicating the advantages of our services and products
- Maintain professional and timely communication with management, colleagues, suppliers, and clients
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns to your supervisor
- Safely operate vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and tire services including installation, rotation, and balancing
- Unload delivery trucks, inspect tires, and manage waste disposal
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace, tools, and equipment in accordance with company standards
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Utilize checklists to ensure compliance with company expectations
QUALIFICATIONS
- ASE Certification is required
- Availability to work during holidays, weekends, and after hours as necessary
- Reliable transportation is essential
- Ability to grasp new concepts and utilize technical resources
- Proficient in operating computers and other office equipment
- Capability to operate both automatic and manual vehicles safely
- Willingness to handle hazardous materials and work in various weather conditions
- Compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards
- Ability to remain stationary (standing and/or driving) for extended periods
- Physical capability to lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds
- Must meet company requirements including successful completion of pre-employment screenings
