Job Summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues with engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Using advanced diagnostic tools and technologies to troubleshoot and repair vehicles
  • Working independently and as part of a team to complete maintenance tasks
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician role
  • ASE certification in diesel mechanics or heavy equipment repair
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
