The Asset Protection Operations Manager plays a crucial role in managing inventory loss and implementing the Asset Protection Strategy for the store. This position ensures compliance with all company regulations as well as local, state, and federal laws during internal and external theft investigations. The manager will collaborate closely with both Customer and Associate teams to ensure clear communication and execution of objectives.
Key Qualifications:
- A natural leader with strong relationship-building capabilities.
- Proficient in public speaking and technology, with a willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments, adept at prioritizing tasks and maintaining balance in workload.
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of retail security systems, information technology, and productivity tools.
- Demonstrated success in identifying inventory loss risks and developing innovative solutions.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail Asset Protection, preferably in a high-volume setting.
- Wicklander-Zulawski Interview Certification is advantageous.
- Monitor and ensure the accuracy of physical inventory through daily and monthly reports and audits with Asset Protection Investigators.
- Maintain consistent communication with Store Leadership, Managers, and Associates to enhance awareness of inventory loss metrics and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee the execution of audits and ensure readiness for internal assessments.
- Collaborate with sales support to ensure adherence to loss prevention processes.
- Handle additional responsibilities as required.

The starting salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $74,000 annually. Various factors such as market conditions, skills, experience, and qualifications may influence starting pay within this range.
This role is also eligible for performance-based bonuses.
