- Negotiating pricing, delivery schedules, and contractual terms for procured goods
- Interpreting and applying contractual obligations
- Reviewing and comprehending technical drawings
- Soliciting, assessing, and comparing supplier quotes
- Managing Return Material Authorization (RMA) processes with vendors
- Overseeing supplier onboarding and related documentation
- Resolving discrepancies in invoices
- Communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

- Employing problem-solving techniques and analytical reasoning
- Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers

The compensation range is a general guideline. When making an offer, Saab Automobile AB considers various factors including the role's responsibilities, location, market conditions, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferably in Supply Chain Management)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Understanding of government contracting processes (including FAR/DFAR)
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of Procurement/Supply Chain and Material Requirement Planning
- Experience in preparing and managing procurement documentation
- Ability to collaborate across departments such as Manufacturing, Material Handling, and Finance
- Engaging with suppliers to gather product or service details, including pricing and availability
- Maintaining organized purchasing records and compliance documentation
- Familiarity with assigned commodities on a domestic or global scale
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities
- Eligibility to obtain security clearance
- Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) procurement processes
- Background in Procurement or Supply Chain management
