Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing patient care
  • Assist with medication management, including filling prescriptions and maintaining patient records
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of prescriptions, including verifying patient information and handling payment
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with pharmacy team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Basic math skills and ability to calculate medication dosages and quantities
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and move about the pharmacy
