Job Title: CDL Class A Driver

Meier Supply is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our team. As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials daily from our established wholesale HVAC distributorships to customers, vendors, and/or internally to other Sales Center locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and transport HVAC freight and materials safely and efficiently
  • Coordinate with management to ensure safe and efficient delivery routes
  • Verify with customers at time of delivery that correct product is delivered in satisfactory condition
  • Maintain all required certifications, including DOT, OSHA, and company safety programs
  • Perform pre and post-truck inspections and maintain truck maintenance records
  • Notify management of any safety issues with company vehicles
  • Perform duties as a warehouse worker, including loading and unloading products in truck for delivery to customers and/or other Sales Centers
  • Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager
  • Assist in the Warehouse with inventory counts, picking, and verifying orders
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3-year truck driving experience
  • Commercial Driving License (CDL Class-A) with Hazmat endorsement
  • Must possess a clean driving record with no restrictions, suspensions, or DUI convictions in the past 3 years
  • Must be able to pass DOT physical examination requirements
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service
  • Must possess the attitude of wanting to learn and grow with the Company
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
