Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL Class A to join our team at Haul USA in New York, NY. As a Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the Northeast and New England regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Loading and unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight as required by customers
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Benefits:
  • $1615+ weekly average pay
  • $1,250/wk minimum guarantee for 5 days worked
  • Hourly pay: $27.00 per hour
  • Regional routes within a 300-mile radius of your home
  • Overtime paid after 40 hours
  • NST tenure bonus: $1,000 each year when actively employed from November 1st to October 31st
  • Overnights for routes in Ryder Booked Hotel or Sleeper, per diem pay: $50 per night
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, must be flexible
  • Hours per week: 50+ hours average per week
  • Deliver to: NE and New England region
  • Trailer type: Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed
  • Freight: Touch/No Touch - varies by account
  • Comprehensive benefits start 30 days after hire
  • Paid time off starts at Day 1 - 80 hours accrued in the first year
  • We reimburse cost and provide training to obtain endorsements
Requirements:
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
